Core responsibilities

  • Record and track finances: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledgers and books of accounts.
  • Prepare financial statements: Produce key financial reports like balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Perform analysis and reporting: Analyze financial data, assess financial operations, and create reports to help management make informed decisions.
  • Manage budgets and forecasts: Develop and manage budgets, and create financial forecasts.
  • Reconcile accounts: Reconcile bank statements and other accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance: Ensure all financial records and activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, and accounting principles (like GAAP).
  • Handle taxes: Prepare and file tax returns, and advise on strategies to minimize tax liabilities.

Additional duties

  • Review and process invoices, and manage payments.
  • Manage payroll functions.
  • Liaise with external auditors and banks.
  • Provide strategic advice on financial planning, investments, and cost reduction.
  • Implement or update accounting systems and software.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,566.29 - ₹22,000.00 per month

  • Accounting: 5 years (Required)
