Accountant (Encouraging UAE Nationals to apply)

Contexte et environnement

  • The job holder will interact with multiple departments.
  • Should be able to adapt & react quickly to adhoc reporting requests without compromising the reliability of the report.
  • Will face situations frequently where job holder will be under time pressure.

Activités

Reporting
  • Assisting in extraction of GL data from SAP and preparation of reports.
  • Sales reporting

Budget and Long-Term Plan (LTP)
  • Coordinate with Sales/Other departments for the requirements.

Other Objectives
  • Approving PRs for entities as per process.
  • Assisting in month end closing.
  • To develop different analysis & reports as and when required.

HSSEQ Objectives
  • Strict adherence and compliance towards Group HSSEQ policy with high Quality of HSSEQ performance and complying with affiliate’s HSSEQ Policy, Procedures & specific rules & regulations applicable to the area of activity at all times.
  • Participate in the training program to acquire HSSEQ knowledge and impart this training to colleagues as and when required by Management.
  • Reporting of near misses, incidents, hazards & injuries to line Manager within the period as required by Quality, HSSEQ, Energy policies and Manuals.
  • Participate in the investigation and analysis of incidents as and when required.
  • Demonstrates exemplary conduct, rigor, vigilance and professionalism regarding HSSEQ in all their activities
  • Strict adherence to HSSEQ requirements with full authority to stop any operation for safety reasons.

Compliance Objectives
  • Ensure full adherence to the company’s compliance program, its policies and procedures including economic sanctions and export control in all professional activities.
  • Promptly notify the compliance officer/economic sanctions referent of any instances of noncompliance or violations of economic sanctions or export control that comes to my attention.

Accountabilities
  • Develop tools, which will ease/enhance the access to the information for the management.
  • Assisting in preparation, presentation and monitoring of annual closing forecast and budget.
  • Assisting in other controlling and analysis work.
  • Ensure adherence to compliance processes and guidelines specific to position’s roles and responsibilities.
  • Strict adherence and compliance towards Group HSSEQ Charter and affiliate’s HSSEQ Policy.

Profil du candidat

Knowledge:
  • Strong Accounting experience and awareness of financial KPIs.
  • Basic knowledge of ERP/SAP or any accounting software
  • Understanding of different business processes
  • Knowledge of Power BI & other analytical tools.
Skills:
  • Strong analytical abilities and willing to take initiative.
  • Eye for detail and support the team in meeting the overall objectives.
  • Possess good interpersonal and strong communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PPT, Word etc.)
Education:
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Finance & Accounting
Experience:
  • 2-3 years of relevant finance experience
