Accountant Excutive

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our dedicated team in the maritime sector. This role is ideal for a professional with 1–2 years of experience who is ready to manage daily financial operations and support the growth of a dynamic shipping agency. Immediate joiners are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. Core duties include:

• Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate daily accounting records and log all financial transactions promptly.
• Accounts Management: Handle the end-to-end processes for both Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Documentation: Prepare and manage essential financial documents, including invoices, vouchers, and comprehensive financial reports.
• Reconciliation & Tracking: Perform regular bank reconciliations and monitor company expenses to ensure budget adherence.
• Month-End Support: Assist the finance team in monthly closing activities and the preparation of monthly reporting packages.
• Cross-Departmental Coordination: Collaborate with operations and management teams to streamline financial workflows.
• Compliance: Ensure all financial activities and reporting comply with established company policies and local financial regulations.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience: 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience (experience in the Maritime or Logistics industry is a plus).
• Skills: Strong understanding of general accounting principles, proficiency in accounting software, and high attention to detail.
• Availability: Preference will be given to candidates who can join immediately.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RO200.000 - RO300.000 per month
