Job Overview:

The Accountant – Factory Accounts will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial activities within the frozen foods factory. The role focuses on cost tracking, expense control, production accounting, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards. This position requires strong knowledge of manufacturing/industrial accounting and the ability to coordinate with production, procurement, and warehouse teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and record all factory-related financial transactions including raw materials, production costs, labor, utilities, and overheads.
• Maintain accurate books of accounts for factory operations in line with company policies.
• Prepare cost sheets, production variance reports, and monthly management accounts.
• Monitor and reconcile inventory of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods with production and warehouse records.
• Handle supplier invoices, payments, and coordinate with procurement for purchase order matching.
• Track factory expenses and ensure effective cost control.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis for production activities.
• Support in audits (internal & external) and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Generate financial reports and share insights with management for decision-making.
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of all factory-related financial records.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years’ experience in accounting within a factory/manufacturing or frozen foods/FMCG industry.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory control, and production accounting.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, ERP systems) and MS Excel.
• Familiarity with VAT regulations and compliance.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Preferred:

• Experience in frozen/chilled food industry accounting.
• Knowledge of international trade documentation (for import of raw materials).
• Professional certifications (e.g., CMA, ACCA, or CA Inter) would be an advantage.

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
