Accountant (Factory General & Cost Accounting)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Factory Accountant to manage general accounting functions with a strong focus on cost accounting within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in factory accounting, inventory control, and cost analysis to support operational efficiency and financial accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle day-to-day general accounting activities including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
  • Perform cost accounting tasks including product costing, variance analysis, and cost control
  • Monitor and analyze manufacturing costs, including raw materials, labor, and overheads
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and coordinate with production and warehouse teams
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
  • Assist in internal and external audits
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Proven experience as a Factory Accountant or Cost Accountant in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and inventory management
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, ACCA) is an advantage
  • Experience with ERP systems
