Responsibilities
- Record-keeping: Documenting and organizing all financial transactions and maintaining ledgers, journals, and other records.
- Financial Reporting: Preparing and presenting financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Taxation & Compliance: Ensuring compliance with all financial regulations, accounting standards (like IFRS or GAAP), and managing tax filings and returns.
- Financial Analysis: Analyzing financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement, providing insights to management for decision-making.
- Auditing: Cooperating with auditors, conducting internal audits, and reconciling financial discrepancies.
- Budgeting: Creating, reviewing, and presenting budgets and monitoring spending.
- Cost Reduction: Recommending strategies for cost reduction and profit maximization to the organization.
- Software & Tools: Utilizing accounting software, such as ERP systems, and advanced tools like Microsoft Excel to manage financial data.
