Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to manage day-to-day financial operations of our fashion house. The candidate will be responsible for accounting, billing, taxation, inventory coordination, and financial reporting, ensuring smooth financial control in a fast-paced fashion environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain daily books of accounts (sales, purchase, expenses)
• Handle billing, invoicing, and payment follow-ups
• Record and reconcile bank statements
• Manage cash and petty cash transactions
• Coordinate with stores/workshops for stock & inventory records
• Prepare GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and comply with statutory requirements
• Handle TDS entries and basic compliance
• Prepare monthly MIS reports and profit & loss statements
• Assist in budgeting and cost control (fabric, production, logistics, etc.)
• Coordinate with CA for audits and year-end finalization
• Ensure timely vendor and salary payments

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Graduate in Commerce (B.Com preferred)
• 2–5 years of experience as an Accountant (fashion/apparel industry preferred)
• Strong knowledge of Tally / Tally Prime and MS Excel
• Basic understanding of GST, TDS, and compliance
• Experience handling inventory-related accounting is an advantage
• Good organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Experience in boutique, designer label, garment unit, or fashion house
• Knowledge of stock movement, job work, and vendor management
• Hands-on approach with attention to detail

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,601.18 - ₹29,919.85 per month
