Accountant – Food & Beverages Sector

We are looking for a qualified Accountant with proven experience in the Food & Beverages (F&B) industry in Qatar. The role requires strong financial management skills, knowledge of local compliance requirements, and the ability to support operational efficiency in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records in line with Qatar’s accounting and tax regulations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely reconciliation with suppliers and customers.
• Oversee cost control processes related to F&B operations, including inventory, wastage, and procurement.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to guide business decisions.
• Ensure compliance with VAT and other statutory requirements in Qatar.
• Liaise with auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities when required.
• Provide financial insights to improve profitability and operational efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience in the Food & Beverages sector (restaurants, catering, or hospitality).
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory management, and F&B financial operations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (ERP systems, Tally, QuickBooks, or similar).
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural environment.

Preferred Attributes

• Prior experience in Qatar or GCC region.
• Familiarity with local labor laws and financial compliance standards.
• Proactive approach to financial management and operational support.
