Accountant (for Canadian & US Clients)

Position: Mid-Level Accountant (for US & Canadian Clients)

Location: Onsite – Thokar Niaz Baig, Multan Road, Lahore

Working Hours: 6:00 PM – 3:00 AM (Monday to Friday)

Salary: PKR 90,000 – 120,000 (based on experience and interview)

About the Role:

We are looking for a Mid-Level Accountants to join our growing team, primarily serving our Canadian client base. The ideal candidate must have strong experience in bookkeeping, financial statement preparation, and Canadian corporate tax filings, along with proficiency in CaseWare, QuickBooks Online, and Xero.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and general ledger entries.
• Reconcile bank accounts in QuickBooks Online and Xero to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
• Prepare invoices and bills in QuickBooks Online Xero, and other relevant software in a timely and accurate manner.
• Prepare and file GST/HST returns in compliance with Canadian tax regulations.
• Manage Canadian payroll processes, including T4 and T4A preparation, in accordance with applicable tax laws.

Requirements:

• ACCA Qualified, Affiliate, or Part-Qualified (with at least 9 exams passed) or Bachelors/Masters in Accounting.
• 2 years experience required of providing accounting services to international clients based in UK, US or Canada.
• Hands-on experience in payroll processing (Canadian experience preferred; US/UK is also acceptable).
• Proficient in QuickBooks online and Xero.
• Familiar with GAAP, Sales Tax and Corporate Taxes.
• Expertise in Payroll, Bookkeeping, Monthly Closing, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable Management.

English Communication:

Excellent English communication both Speaking and writing

English should be at least 7 out of 10 overall (please don't apply if your English communication is not good)
