Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in the S.I.T.E Area of Karachi for an Accountant. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Day-to-day tasks include maintaining accurate books of accounts, processing invoices, managing cash flow, overseeing inventory, and optimizing the internal order cycle time.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of company’s manufacturing unit, supporting the COO in achieving operational excellence by:
- Manage and monitor cash flow, ensuring timely payments and collections to maintain financial stability.
- Oversee inventory to optimize stock levels and reduce costs.
- Analyze and streamline the internal order cycle time for maximum efficiency.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts and reports to support strategic financial planning.
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Generate financial reports for management and external stakeholders.
General Ledger Management:
- Oversee the general ledger and maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records.
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Ensure proper coding and classification of financial transactions.
Internal Controls:
- Establish and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Monitor compliance with internal policies and procedures.
- Implement improvements to enhance financial processes.
Cash Management:
- Manage cash flow and ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs.
- Monitor banking activities and reconcile bank statements.
- Optimize cash management processes to maximize efficiency.
Qualifications and Requisites:
- Experience in bookkeeping, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
- Strong knowledge in financial reporting and analysis
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel
- •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- •Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- •Proficiency in accounting software and financial tools.
- •Proven experience in cash flow management, inventory control, and process optimization.
- •Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- •Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- •Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with cash flow management and inventory control principles
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Rs50,000.00 - Rs70,000.00 per month
