Job Summary:

The Accountant is responsible for managing all financial transactions, maintaining accurate books of accounts, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. The role involves handling day-to-day accounting activities, preparing budgets, reconciling accounts, and assisting in audits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounting Operations:
  • Maintain general ledger, journal entries, and financial statements.
  • Record day-to-day financial transactions accurately.
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable.
  • Bank & Cash Management:
  • Prepare bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
  • Ensure proper documentation and filing of all financial records.
  • Taxation & Compliance:
  • Assist in GST, TDS, and income tax filings.
  • Ensure timely compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Financial Reporting:
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Assist in preparing balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and budget forecasts.
  • Audit Support:
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors.
  • Maintain audit-ready records and documentation.
  • Budgeting & Cost Control:
  • Assist in budget preparation and expense management.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA (Inter) preferred.
  • Experience: 2–5 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
  • Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and other Indian taxation laws.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹33,000.00 per month
