Daily Tasks - Record And Verify All Premium Collections, Refunds, And Commission
Transactions..
- Maintain Daily Entries For Receipts, Payments, Invoices, And Journal Vouchers
In Accounting Software (E.G., Tally ERP, Zoho Books).
- Reconcile Daily Bank Transactions Related To Premium Receipts And Payouts To
Agents Or Partners.
- Handle Policy-Related Financial Adjustments, Including Cancellations And
Endorsements.
- Process Vendor Payments, Employee Reimbursements, And Petty Cash Expenses.
-Ensure GST And TDS Entries Are Accurately Recorded For All Financial
Transactions.
- Coordinate With The Operations And Sales Teams To Validate Client And
Premium Data.
Weekly
Tasks
- Reconcile Agent Commission Statements, Premium Receivable/Payable
Accounts, And Insurer Settlements.
- Review Cash Flow Forecasts And Ensure Adequate Funds For Operational Needs.
- Prepare Weekly MIS Reports For Management On Revenue, Collections, And
Outstanding Premiums.
- Conduct Expense Tracking Against Budgets And Flag Variances.
- Verify All Statutory Deductions And Ensure Compliance With Regulatory Timelines.
- Support Hr For Salary Input Validation And Statutory Deductions (PF, ESIC,
TDS).
Monthly
Tasks
- Finalize Monthly Financial Statements (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, And Cash
Flow).
- Reconcile All Insurer And Intermediary Accounts For Accuracy In Commission
And Premium Postings.
- Ensure Timely Filing Of GST, TDS, And Other Regulatory Returns.
- Prepare And Submit Monthly Management Reports (MIS) With Business
Performance Analysis.
- Oversee Audit Documentation And Internal Control Checks.
- Verify And Approve Agent Commissions And Incentive Disbursements.
- Assist In Budget Preparation And Financial Planning.
- Maintain Minutes Books & Other MCA/ IRDAI Compliances

3. Work Experience
● Minimum 4–6 Years Of Experience In Accounting Within An Insurance Or Financial
Services Company.
● Experience In Handling Insurer Reconciliation, Agent Commission Payouts, And IRDAI
Compliance.
4. Technical Skills
● In-Depth Knowledge Of Insurance Accounting Practices (Premium, Claim, And
Commission Accounting).
● Strong Understanding Of GST, TDS, And IRDAI Financial Compliance.
● Proficiency In Tally ERP / Zoho Books / CRM-Based Accounting Systems.
● High Attention To Detail, Accuracy, And Confidentiality.
● Excellent Communication And Coordination Skills With Internal Teams And Auditors.
