Role Overview

A transport and logistics company based in Dubai Investment Park (DIP) is seeking an Accountant with hands-on experience in Odoo and Tally. The ideal candidate will support day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accurate financial records, and assist with basic compliance requirements. This role is suitable for candidates with early UAE accounting experience looking to grow within the logistics sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate books of accounts using Odoo and Tally
• Record daily transactions, expenses, invoices, and receipts
• Assist with bank reconciliations and ledger maintenance
• Support VAT-related documentation and basic compliance
• Coordinate with operations and admin teams for financial records
• Prepare basic financial reports as required by management
• Ensure proper filing and documentation of financial records

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of UAE accounting experience
• Mandatory hands-on experience with Odoo Software and Tally
• Basic knowledge of UAE accounting and VAT procedures
• Proficient in MS Excel and accounting documentation
• Detail-oriented, organized, and reliable
• Able to join immediately
