Accountant - Permanent Role

We are a well-established HR management and consultancy organization based in Doha, supporting businesses across multiple sectors with end-to-end workforce solutions. As part of our internal growth, we are currently looking to hire an Accountant for a permanent role to support our financial operations and ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across accounting functions.

Location: Doha, Qatar
Employment Type: Full-Time | Permanent
Working Days: 5 Days per Week
Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Salary: QAR 4,000 (Full Package)
Reports To: CEO

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day financial operations and support accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining financial discipline, supporting management decision-making, and closely coordinating with the HR department on payroll and employee-related financial matters.

Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Accounting & Records

  • Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger entries
  • Process accounts payable and receivable
  • Perform regular bank and account reconciliations

Financial Reporting

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Assist in preparing profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and related reports
  • Review and analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance

Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Support the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts
  • Monitor budget performance and report variances to management

Compliance & Audit Support

  • Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations and company policies
  • Assist with internal and external audits by preparing required documentation
  • Address audit queries and provide necessary clarifications

Payroll & HR Coordination

  • Process payroll accurately and on time
  • Coordinate closely with the HR department on employee salary details, benefits, and deductions
  • Maintain payroll records in line with company policies and legal requirements

Cash Flow & Asset Management

  • Monitor cash flow and prepare liquidity reports
  • Track company assets and record depreciation
  • Ensure timely vendor payments and customer collections

Internal Controls & Process Improvement

  • Support the implementation and maintenance of internal financial controls
  • Identify gaps in financial processes and recommend improvements

Management & Ad Hoc Support

  • Provide financial data and insights to support management decisions
  • Assist with special financial tasks and projects as assigned

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Proficiency in accounting software
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processing
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel and other MS Office tools
