Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate books of accounts including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
- Handle costing, budgeting, and forecasting for real estate projects.
- Monitor project-wise profitability and cost tracking (land, construction, development, etc.).
- Work closely with project and sales teams to track revenue recognition, advances, and collections.
- Reconcile customer accounts, follow up for outstanding payments, and manage collections.
- Manage GST, TDS, income tax filings, and ensure timely payments and compliance with statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with auditors for internal and external audits.
- Prepare MIS reports for management, including cash flow statements, variance analysis, and project P&L.
- Liaise with banks and financial institutions for project funding, disbursements, and interest calculations.
- Assist in drafting financial policies and improving internal controls.
