Accountant - Real Estate Experienced(UAE)

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to manage our financial operations, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and maintain accurate accounting records. The ideal candidate will have experience in general ledger management, payroll processing, compliance reporting, and the use of accounting software to support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle general ledger accounting and ensure timely, accurate posting of transactions.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and ensure alignment with internal records.
  • Prepare and ensure accurate financial reporting in accordance with accounting standards.
  • Process payroll, including salary calculations, WPS compliance, and administration of employee benefits.
  • Support AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and KYC (Know Your Customer) compliance by monitoring transactions, verifying client identities, and assisting in suspicious activity reporting.
  • Utilize Tally ERP, Outlook, and Excel for financial reporting, record keeping, and data accuracy.
  • Assist with statutory audits by preparing required schedules and documentation.
  • Implement and maintain internal financial controls to ensure compliance and reduce operational risks.
  • Stay updated with UAE accounting regulations and company policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA are an advantage).
  • Proven experience in general ledger accounting, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Experience in payroll processing, WPS, and employee benefits management.
  • Knowledge of AML/KYC regulations and compliance procedures.
  • Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong understanding of UAE accounting standards and statutory audit requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations and prepare VAT, TDS, and other statutory filings.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain accuracy under tight deadlines and handle confidential information with integrity.
