Accountant (Remote | 1099 Independent Contractor)

Overview
Alleato Group is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to support our financial operations. This role is well-suited for someone who enjoys working independently, improving processes, and leveraging modern tools, including AI, to increase efficiency. (This is a 1099 job position)

Responsibilities

• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Prepare customer invoices and process vendor payments
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and statements
• Maintain accounting inbox and documentation
• Enter payroll and general journal entries
• Prepare financial and management reports
• Organize and maintain accounting files and records
• Identify and implement process and system improvements
• Utilize AI tools to streamline accounting tasks
• Perform clean-up and catch-up accounting work

Qualifications

• Prior experience in accounting or bookkeeping
• Fluent English communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
• Interest in professional growth and continuous improvement
• Availability during Eastern Time Zone hours
• Reliable computer and internet connection

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
