Job Title: Accountant – Reporting & Import/Export Documentation

Job Type: Full-Time on site role
Timings: 7 PM to 5 AM (night shift)
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with strong expertise in financial reporting and import/export documentation processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accounting records, preparing financial reports, handling trade documentation, and ensuring compliance with company policies and international trade regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
- Maintain accurate accounting records, ledgers, and reconciliations.
- Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and review import/export documentation, including:
- Commercial Invoices
- Packing Lists
- Bills of Lading
- Goods Declarations
- Letter of Credit (LC) Documents
- Delivery Orders
- Customs-related documents
- Coordinate with banks, freight forwarders, shipping agents, and customs clearing agents.
- Monitor import/export payments and maintain proper financial records.
- Maintain an organized documentation and filing system for all financial and trade-related records.
- Assist management with reporting, audits, and financial analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (MBA Finance, ACCA Finalist/Qualified, or CA-Inter preferred).
- Minimum 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting and accounting principles.
- Experience in import/export documentation and trade finance processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks, Odoo, or other ERP systems.
- Good understanding of banking transactions, LC documentation, and reconciliations.
- Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of import/export procedures and customs regulations.
- Experience in inventory and cost accounting.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
