Key Responsibilities
- Booking, Recording and manage the general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger
- Bank, suppliers, customers reconciliation and Intercompany reconciliations
- Perform monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reports.
- Review and reconcile balance sheets and Income statements
- Preparing cost sheet and price fixing of SKU
- Coordinate and manage the annual audit process with external auditors
- Manage cash flow and working capital to ensure financial stability
- Manage uae and africa tax compliance and filings, including VAT, corporate tax, and other statutory requirements.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and reporting requirements
- Stock reconciliation and managing ad hoc Stock audit with overseas location
- Monthly Payroll coordination with HR and Compliance
- Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies, procedures and controls
- Support the finance team in various ad hoc projects and initiatives
- Assist and support in ERP implementation
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- Experience in Retail Business
- Minimum 4 years of experience in accounting or finance
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and tax regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems. Tally /Retail Pro, experience with Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.
- Experience in ERP implementation
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office Applications
