Accountant - Senior

We are a long-established wholesale kitchenware company based in Dubai, seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional with hands-on experience in import/export operations, VAT & corporate tax filing, warehouse management, and stock control.

The ideal candidate must have worked with product-based (goods) companies (not service or IT-related industries) and must demonstrate high accuracy, strong responsibility, and leadership capability, with solid knowledge of UAE compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and record all import and export transactions in compliance with UAE customs regulations.
• Handle VAT and corporate tax submissions, ensuring complete and accurate supporting documentation.
• Prepare, review, and maintain financial statements with high accuracy and timeliness.
• Regularly check, audit, and reconcile store and warehouse inventory, ensuring physical stock matches system records.
• Supervise warehouse operations, stock movement, and goods transfers with strong control and accountability.
• Proactively identify discrepancies, risks, and improvement opportunities in inventory, processes, and reporting.
• Coordinate with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal teams for shipments and deliveries.
• Support management with financial planning, supplier payments, audit requirements, and compliance reviews.
• Demonstrate leadership in guiding storekeepers and warehouse staff, ensuring discipline, accuracy, and process adherence.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of UAE experience in accounting for import/export or trading companies.
• Strong knowledge of VAT filing, corporate tax, and financial statement preparation.
• Proven hands-on experience in store and warehouse inventory control.
• High level of accuracy, proactiveness, responsibility, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in ERP/accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, or similar).
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
