Accountant (Trading Distribution)

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly and quarterly MIS reports and maintain bookkeeping records.
• Conduct variance analysis against budgets and prepare management presentations.
• Assist in preparing the company’s annual budget.
• Perform bank, staff, and other account reconciliations.
• Ensure VAT compliance and timely return filing.
• Manage accounts receivable, including sending SOAs, following up on collections, and maintaining accurate transaction records.
• Coordinate with banks and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare schedules and supporting documents for interim and annual audits.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and delegation of authority.
• Maintain accounting accuracy through regular ledger reviews and report discrepancies to management.

Requirements

• B.Com / M.Com or CA Inter qualification.
• Strong accounting knowledge with good problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to multitask effectively.
• Knowledge of ERP systems; Orion experience is preferred.
• Good understanding of VAT regulations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills across all business levels.
