As an award-winning firm of Chartered Accountants & Tax Advisors based in Brentford (West London), we seek a Part Qualified/ Qualified ACCA Accountant to join our friendly and rapidly expanding team (remotely).

We are a forward-thinking accounting firm providing a range of accounting and tax services and are looking for someone ready to take the next step in their career.

The position is for an Accountant who will be focused on providing practical bookkeeping and accounting services for our UK based clients.

Responsibilities

Responsible for supporting our ‘Client Accountants’ by providing the following services;

• Performing all bookkeeping duties for our clients
• Preparation of VAT returns every month
• Strong grip and working knowledge of UK VAT
• Reconciling accounting ledgers and accounts on a regular basis
• Preparation of annual statutory accounts for our clients
• Review of corporation tax for our clients in the UK
• Provide ad-hoc support to ‘Client Accountants’

What are we looking for?

• Qualified ACA/ACCA or AAT.
• Minimum of 3 years of practice experience
• Working knowledge of Xero, FreeAgent, Quickbooks (Essential)
• Excellent English communication & presentational skills
• Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
• Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel)
• A candidate who can work full time, 9.00 to 5.30 with a hour break (UK-time)

Education:

• ACCA/ACA qualified or part qualified (Required)

Experience:

• UK Accounting: 3 years (Required)
