Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting & Bookkeeping Specialist with 5–8 years of hands-on experience to manage end-to-end accounting operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with Pakistani tax laws and regulations, and supporting financial reporting and decision-making processes.
This role requires a proactive professional who can work independently, handle full-cycle accounting, and contribute effectively to the organization’s financial integrity and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ledgers, and journals
- Handle full-cycle bookkeeping, including:
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- General Ledger entries
- Bank and cash reconciliations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS / Local GAAP
- Manage cash flow, petty cash, and banking transactions
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with local labor and statutory requirements (EOBI, income tax deductions, etc.)
- Ensure timely preparation and filing of:
- Withholding tax
- Income tax returns
- Sales tax (FBR, PRA)
- Assist in budget preparation, variance analysis, and financial forecasting
- Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities
- Implement and maintain strong internal controls and accounting procedures
- Support ERP or accounting software usage and implementation (QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, Peachtree, or local systems)
- Support management with financial analysis and reporting as required
Professional Exposure (Preferred)
- Familiarity with professional services environments, including exposure to Big Four firms (Deloitte, EY, KPMG, PwC) or similar consulting, audit, or outsourcing organizations is an advantage
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
- (B.Com, M.Com, MBA Finance, or equivalent)
- Professional certifications such as ACCA, CA (Inter), ICMA, or equivalent will be a strong advantage
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in accounting and bookkeeping, preferably in a corporate or professional services environment
- Strong command of accounting software and tools:
- QuickBooks, Peachtree, ERP systems
- Advanced Microsoft Excel
- In-depth knowledge of:
- Pakistani tax laws and FBR regulations
- Financial reporting standards
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently, handle pressure, and meet tight deadlinesPreferred Skills

- Good understanding of inventory accounting and cost control
