Accountant/Tax Preparer

## Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Senior Accountant/Tax Preparer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax preparation and accounting, with the ability to handle complex tax returns and provide exceptional client service.

This position involves handling accounting tasks, including creating and reviewing financial statements and preparing related tax returns. Additionally, you'll assist with administrative duties and special projects. The role is hands-on, requiring strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.

## Duties

-Assist business clients with accounting/bookkeeping duties, primarily through Quick Books Online
- Prepare individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns
- Conduct tax research and analysis on various tax issues
- Assist clients with tax planning and compliance needs
- Communicate directly with clients to gather information and address inquiries
- Utilize accounting software to input and analyze financial data

- Understanding of depreciation related issues
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations
- Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely completion of tax returns

## Qualifications

- Previous tax return preparation required
- CPA certification is a plus, but not required
- Knowledge of CCH Access Software a plus, but not required
- Strong understanding of technical accounting principles
- Excellent math and analytical skills
- Knowledge of corporate accounting practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
