Accounting and book keeping Specialist

Job Summary

We are hiring a Booking and Accounting Specialist to manage day to day financial operations across multiple businesses, including hotels and motels. This role focuses on reconciliations, accurate booking records, and reliable financial reporting. The position is based in our Rawalpindi office and reports directly to a Senior Accountant in the USA.

Experience Required

3 to 5 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience Strong experience using QuickBooks Hands on experience with reconciliations

Key Responsibilities

Daily Reconciliation

Perform daily reconciliation of cash, credit card transactions, and accounts receivable Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial reports Maintain accurate and organized financial records

Booking Management

Process and manage bookings across multiple properties Ensure accurate data entry and updates in booking systems and QuickBooks Work with operations teams to resolve booking and payment issues

Financial Reporting

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports Review financial data for errors or unusual trends Submit reports to management on time

Compliance and Audit Support

Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations Assist with internal and external audits when required Maintain proper documentation for audit readiness

Collaboration

Coordinate with teams across properties to resolve billing and payment discrepancies Communicate clearly with the Senior Accountant and US based stakeholders

Required Skills

Strong attention to detail

Solid bookkeeping and reconciliation skills Ability to manage multiple properties and deadlines Strong organizational and communication skills Comfort working with a remote manager in a different time zone

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in hospitality accounting for hotels or motels Familiarity with property management or reservation sys

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs80,000.00 - Rs150,000.00 per month
