We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Assistant in Education Sector to support the finance department in managing daily accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of basic accounting principles, excellent numerical skills, and the ability to maintain accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Record Keeping & Reporting
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including invoices, receipts, and payments.
Assist in preparing basic financial reports and summaries.
Ensure accuracy and proper documentation of all financial transactions.
2. Accounting Operations & Compliance
Support daily accounting operations including accounts payable and receivable.
Assist in bank reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.
Ensure compliance with company policies and basic accounting standards.
3. Collections & Receivables Management
Ensure strong follow-up on collections and outstanding payments.
Communicate with clients regarding overdue invoices and payment schedules.
Maintain updated records of receivables and aging reports.
4. Systems, Controls & Documentation
Maintain organized financial records and filing systems.
Assist in improving accounting processes and ensuring data accuracy.
Support documentation for audits and internal reviews.
5. Collaboration & Administrative Support
Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors for financial matters.
Provide administrative support to the finance team.
Assist in audits, reporting, and other finance-related tasks as required..
