Oliver Inc . is looking for a motivated Accounting Assistant to join our finance team.

In this role, you'll be responsible for processing customer billings, preparing sales reports, and supporting accounts payable activities. As you gain experience, you'll take on account reconciliations, assist with monthly financial statements, and contribute to special projects that help our business thrive.

About the Role:

As our Accounting Assistant , you will:

• Collaborate with the sales team to ensure customers are billed accurately and promptly.
• Resolve customer billing discrepancies with attention to detail and professionalism.
• Assist with month-end reconciliations and financial statement preparation.
• Learn and master our accounts receivable, accounts payable, and job management modules in our ERP system.
• Provide backup support for accounts payable and front-office functions.
• Manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and handle interruptions with ease.

About You :

You're a fit for the role of Accounting Assistant if you have:

• 3+ years of experience in accounting or a similar role.
• Proficiency in Windows, Word, and Excel.
• Strong multi-tasking skills and the ability to exercise judgment in a fast-paced environment.
• A high school diploma (some college coursework or training is a plus).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• A proactive, detail-oriented approach and a willingness to learn.
