Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Assistant to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an individual with bookkeeping and administrative experience to contribute to a growing organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and a commitment to accuracy. This position supports the accounting department through a variety of accounting, administrative, and customer service functions.

Key Responsibilities

· Assist with bookkeeping and accounting tasks using company ERP accounting software

· Enter invoices, payments, deposits, and other financial data accurately and efficiently

· Maintain organized filing systems for invoices, customer deposits, and financial records

· Process accounts receivable activities, including billing and remote deposits

· Process accounts payable activities, including invoice entry and credit card reconciliations

· Provide professional customer service via phone and email

· Perform general office duties, including filing, photocopying, document management, and record maintenance

· Assist with administrative tasks such as typing, proofreading, and data entry

· Coordinate hotel accommodations for employees working out of town

· Manage company apparel inventory and ordering

· Provide support to the Human Resources department as needed

· Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned

Qualifications

· Previous experience in bookkeeping, accounting support, or office administration preferred

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook

· Strong computer and data-entry skills with a high degree of accuracy

· Excellent organizational and time-management skills

· Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines

· Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

· Professional communication and customer service skills

· Experience with accounting software is preferred
