Accounting Assistant Specialist

We are currently looking for an Accounting Assistant Specialist to join our Finance organization and contribute to the continued success and growth of our operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or related fields from the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences
• New graduate or preferably 1–2 years of experience in accounting
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Turkish Tax Procedure Law (VUK) and preferably IFRS
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly MS Excel and MS Word
• Preferably good command of English
• Strong analytical thinking, reporting, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Detail-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility
• For male candidates, no military obligation
• Strong planning and time management skills
• Currently based in Antalya or willing to relocate

Job Description

• Ensure that accounting operations are carried out in compliance with relevant legislation and company procedures
• Perform and monitor daily accounting entries in accordance with applicable regulations and internal procedures
• Record and maintain daily bank transactions
• Prepare and review bank reconciliation statements
• Preferably experienced in SAP or similar ERP/accounting systems
• Monitor and manage e-invoice and e-archive invoice processes
• Review and control customer and vendor account records
• Support month-end closing processes
• Perform account reconciliations, including intercompany reconciliations
• Prepare accounting records related to employee expenses and travel costs
