Accounting Associate

Accounting Associate – Australian Accounting & Corporate Finance (Remote, India)About the RoleWe are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Associate based in India to support our Australian accounting and corporate finance projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of hands-on experience in Australian bookkeeping, accounting, or tax compliance. This is a full-time remote position, and the selected team member will work closely with our Australian team.Key Responsibilities

• Perform bookkeeping tasks using Australian accounting standards and tools (e.g., Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks Online).
• Assist with preparation of BAS, IAS, payroll, superannuation, and GST-related filings.
• Prepare financial statements and management reports.
• Assist with financial modelling, valuation and pitchdecks.

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Australian accounting / bookkeeping / taxation.
• Strong understanding of GST, BAS, payroll, and Australian compliance basics.
• Proficiency in Xero, MYOB, or similar cloud accounting platforms.
• Good communication skills — written and verbal.
• Strong Excel and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines.

Work Hours

• 7:00 AM IST to 4:00 PM IST
• Remote role, with occasional visits to the Kochi office for training or operational needs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience working with Australian CPAs, accounting firms, or outsourcing teams.
• Exposure to corporate finance tasks will be an advantage.
