Accounting Associate

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We’re looking for a detail-driven, upbeat Accounting Associate who’s ready to jump in and make an immediate impact. This role is at the heart of our daily accounting operations. Think of this as the center stage role for all things Accounts Payable and Receivable; the person who makes sure every transaction hits the right note.

  • ERP experience required: Sage (Acumatica experience a plus).

You’ll handle posting and reconciling A/P and A/R transactions, ensure our credit cards and employee reimbursements stay in sync, and support smooth month-end closes. You’ll work closely with our Accounting Manager, keeping the company’s cash flow accurate and the financials crisp and clean.

  • ERP experience required: Sage (Acumatica experience a plus).

WHAT YOU’RE ACCOUNTABILE FOR:

  • Owning the flow of our daily transactions. Post A/P and A/R entries accurately and on time, keeping the ledger clean and current.
  • Reconciling Balance Sheet accounts, credit cards, vendor statements, and employee reimbursements.
  • Supporting monthly performance reporting. Assist with journal entries, accruals, and intercompany transfers during month-end close.
  • Managing relationships with precision. Collaborate with Supply Chain, Contracts, and department managers to resolve billing or payment discrepancies.
  • Championing compliance and consistency. Uphold financial controls, support audits, and maintain organized, well-documented records in a paperless environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 2- 3 years of accounting experience (manufacturing environment preferred).
  • Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principals (GAAP) and their application in daily accounting practices.
  • Strong understanding of A/P, A/R, and account reconciliations.
  • ERP experience required: Sage (Acumatica experience a plus).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite.
  • Reliable, organized, and committed to continuous improvement.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident due to ITAR regulations.

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH:

You’ll report directly to the Accounting Manager and work closely with the Supply Chain and Contracts teams – essential partners in keeping our operations running smoothly.
