Role Overview
We’re looking for a dependable, organized Accounting Associate to support day-to-day transactional accounting that keeps our operations running smoothly. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role where you’ll work closely with our Controller — ensuring accuracy across expense management, vendor processing, and core accounting functions.
This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in getting the fundamentals right, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and understands that strong execution at the transactional level is the backbone of a high-performing finance team.
Key Responsibilities
Travel & Expense Management

Review and process employee expense reports, ensuring policy compliance, accurate coding, and proper documentation

Reconcile corporate credit cards and bank accounts monthly, maintaining accurate GL coding

Manage expense tickets end-to-end, resolving missing receipts, policy exceptions, and discrepancies

Support corporate travel booking and maintain T&E tracking to surface trends and exceptions

Act as a go-to resource for employees on expense processes and tools
Transactional Accounting Support

Process vendor invoices and support accounts payable operations

Assist with accounts receivable, including tracking payments and following up on outstanding balances

Support month-end close with journal entries, bank recs, and balance sheet reconciliations

Maintain clean, organized, audit-ready records

Ensure accurate data entry and consistency within the general ledger
General Finance Support

Respond to internal requests for financial data and documentation

Assist with vendor onboarding, W-9 collection, and 1099 preparation

Support audit preparation and documentation gathering

Contribute to process improvements as the finance function scales

Take on ad hoc projects and administrative support tasks
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field (required)

1–3 years of relevant experience (internships welcome)

Strong understanding of basic accounting principles

Proficiency in Excel and ability to learn new systems quickly

NetSuite experience strongly preferred; T&E platform experience a plus
