Accounting Associate

The role

In this position, you will assist FILI’s Accounting Department with various month end close related accounting tasks as well as ad-hoc projects, including preparation of year end audited financial statements. This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your expertise and make a significant impact.

The hourly pay rate range for this position is $25-27 per hour.
Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.

The expertise and skills you bring

• High School or equivalent plus current pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Accounting)
• Experience in the Financial Services industry preferred but not required.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting practices, and internal controls.
• Highly motivated, flexible, quality focused teammate with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
• Work independently and exhibit both independent thinking and good judgment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel) and the ability to learn financial systems and multidimensional reporting tools (i.e., Oracle, Essbase, Power BI).
