Accounting Associate

Purpose: An Administrative Clerk is a customer oriented highly motivated individual, who can provide high volume of administrative support to enable the smooth running of the office and accounts payable operations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


Answer, screen and transfer inbound phone calls
general clerical duties including photocopying, faxing, & mailing
maintain electronic and hard copy filing system
resolve administrative issues and inquiries
coordinate with receiving to ensure accurate & timely accounts payable records
reconcile vendor accounts
input sales & deposit information into accounting system
assist in filling out new hire paperwork
assist in signup & administration of employee benefits


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS


Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
knowledge of basic book keeping functions & principles
knowledge in operation of standard office equipment
knowledge of clerical/administrative procedures and systems such as filing and record keeping
knowledge of principles and practices of basic office management
degree in a related field of study
