Job Summary
The Accounting Associate – Level II supports core accounting functions including account reconciliation, journal entry preparation, data validation, and month-end close activities. The role performs accounting tasks with moderate supervision, provides operational support to stakeholders, and assists with audit and costing requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Common Responsibilities (Internal + External)

Compile, consolidate, and conduct basic analysis of accounting and financial data.

Prepare routine journal entries and ensure accuracy and timeliness of postings.

Perform monthly and annual account reconciliations, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up.

Assist in preparing tables, charts, and analytical exhibits for internal reports and reviews.

Support month-end and year-end close processes under moderate supervision.

Participate in less complex accounting projects and contribute as a team member on moderately complex assignments.

Execute ad hoc reporting requests as needed.

Qualifications
External Requirements

High school diploma or secondary education certificate, or equivalent experience meeting regulatory standards.
Internal / Preferred Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related discipline (preferred but not mandatory).

Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reconciliation processes.

Ability to prepare and analyze basic financial statements and journal entries.

Proficiency in MS Excel and financial data analysis tools.

Understanding of costing and pricing fundamentals (internal requirement).
