Accounting Clerk

Lorain County Printing and Publishing is looking for a full-time, individual to become a member of our accounting department! This position would be ideal for an entry level candidate or someone looking to expand their experience within the field of accounting.

Qualified candidates will report to the controller and will be responsible for accounts payable duties, communicating with vendors, processing payments as well as some accounts receivable duties and light collections. Additional responsibilities to include: month-end closings, reconciliations, account analyses. Potential to learn radio traffic system.

Full-time, could potentially start part-time and move to full-time for the right candidate with room for growth. Required education for this position would include a high school diploma, some college would be preferred. Accounting background and familiarity with Excel are required.

College coursework in accounting is required. Must be detail-oriented.

General hours are Monday through Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM.
