Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Assist with processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including entering invoices, applying payments, and supporting billing activities.
  • Prepare and enter routine financial data into the accounting system with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Help maintain accurate records of cash receipts, fee revenue, and pass-through payments.
  • Support monthly reconciliations by reviewing transactions and identifying discrepancies for follow-up.
  • Review invoices, purchase orders, and payment requests for completeness and proper documentation.
  • Assist with billing, collections follow-up, and vendor payment inquiries.
  • Maintain organized financial files, records, and supporting documentation.
  • Work directly with vendors and internal departments to resolve routine accounting and billing questions.
  • Assist with preparing reports and spreadsheets for the accounting team as needed.
  • Provide support during month-end close and annual audit activities by gathering requested documentation.
  • Perform general administrative and clerical support duties for the accounting and finance team.

Time Management & Prioritization – Ability to manage competing deadlines, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet close and reporting timelines.

Education & Experience:

  • AA/AS degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 2+ years of General Accounting experience
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in working as part of a team to drive towards an optimal solution
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including expert Excel skills
  • Working knowledge of Sage Intacct is a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently with minimal direction
  • Demonstrates quality customer service, teamwork, and cultural fit

Compensation:

$ 26-30/hour DOE
