Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to support our expanding accounting and finance operations. This role will assist with a variety of accounting functions including accounts receivable, cash posting, contract data entry, accounts payable support, vendor billing reconciliations, and general ledger reconciliations. The ideal candidate is dependable, accurate, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities. Hybrid Schedule: 3 days on-site, 2 days remote.

Reports to:
Corporate Controller

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Process and maintain accounts receivable transactions
  • Post daily cash receipts and ensure accurate application of payments
  • Enter and maintain customer contract information within accounting systems
  • Provide support for accounts payable processing and vendor communications
  • Perform vendor billing reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
  • Assist with monthly general ledger reconciliations
  • Maintain organized accounting records and documentation
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities
  • Communicate with internal departments and external vendors/customers regarding accounting matters
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures
Required Skills/Abilities:
Specific accounting skills are not required but beneficial. We are focused more on the character and motivation of the candidate for the right cultural fit. Must possess or be willing to develop the following skills:
  • Accounting Software and Bookkeeping
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel, Word, and Google Sheets
  • Sage Intacct, Asana, Bill.com, Avalara, and Paycor
  • Extreme attention to detail and organization
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-growth organization
  • Customer service mindset
  • Collaborative, friendly, professional, flexible and self-driven
Education and Experience:
Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience in an office environment, particularly in an accounting role preferred but not required.
