Job Summary
White Stone Fleet Service’s Accounting Clerk is responsible for performing a variety of basic accounting, bookkeeping, and financial tasks. This role supports the accounting department by maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring timely completion of routine accounting duties.
Work Environment
· Typically works Remote (potential Hybrid/Office)
· Standard business hours (may vary during busy financial periods)
· Reports to Controller
Key Responsibilities·
Record financial transactions such as invoices, payments, receipts, and expenses
· Process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)
· Handle set up and corrections involving Sales and Use Tax for customers and vendors.
· Following up with customers for late payments
· Maintain and update accounting records and filing systems
· Assist with payroll processing
· Verify accuracy of financial data and correct errors
· Support month-end and year-end closing processes
· Communicate with vendors and customers regarding billing issues
· Generate basic financial reports for Controller
Experience and Skills
· Associate degree (Min)
· Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, CRM systems and other software applications
· Proficiency in using QuickBooks Online
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy
· Accounts Receivable and Collections experience
· Accounts Payable and Vendor Management experience
· Strong communication skills

Pay: $24.32 - $29.29 per hour
