As an Accounting Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial integrity of our operations, overseeing day-to-day financial activities, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the continued growth and success of B2B Realty.
Note: This is a remote position and candidates will be working in the US business hours (EST)

Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and posting bills related to property portfolios.
- Reconcile bank statements and financial accounts, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting to support strategic financial planning.
- Collaborate with property managers and other departments to resolve accounting-related issues and discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in the accounting software system.
- Assist with year-end audits and tax preparation activities.
- Provide support to the accounting team as needed, including ad-hoc financial analysis and projects.
- Coordinate with property managers to ensure accurate recording and allocation of property expenses, including maintenance costs, utilities, and property taxes.
- Implement and maintain internal controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Conduct regular reviews of financial processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and efficiency gains.
- Coordinate with external stakeholders, such as vendors, contractors, and financial institutions, to resolve billing discrepancies and financial inquiries.
- Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to support business growth and operational excellence.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in property management accounting, incorporating relevant insights into day-to-day operations.
- Serve as a mentor to junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in property management or real estate.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- CPA certification or progress towards CPA eligibility (preferred but not required).
