Overview
We are a Global corporation, we dedicate our work, to the refrigeration industry, with presence in North America, and Latin America.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Coordinator to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, with a focus on both corporate and non-profit accounting. This role is essential in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulatory standards, and effective financial management within the organization.
Duties
- Prepare and maintain financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and account reconciliation to ensure accuracy.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing and payment tracking.
- Perform general ledger accounting tasks, including journal entries and month-end close activities.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including cash flow analysis and budget forecasting.
- Support auditing processes by providing necessary documentation and insights.
- Mentor junior accounting staff to enhance their skills and knowledge in accounting practices.
- Ensure compliance with SOX regulations and other relevant securities laws.
- Utilize accounting software such as Sage or Xero for efficient financial management.
- Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making processes within the organization.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of corporate accounting, governmental accounting, and non-profit accounting principles.
- Required the use of ERP, SAP, ORACLE.
- Bilingual English and Spanish required.
- Proficiency in technical accounting concepts, including accrual accounting, double entry bookkeeping, and debits & credits.
- Experience with financial report writing and interpretation to communicate findings effectively.
- Familiarity with regulatory reporting requirements and auditing processes.
- Solid understanding of financial management concepts, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis.
- Ability to perform account analysis and maintain accurate records through effective bookkeeping practices.
- Experience with payroll processing and financial services is a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail for accurate financial reporting.
