Accounting & Finance Manager

Job Overview:

We are seeking an Accounting & Finance Manager to join a dynamic, fast-paced organization with operations in Puerto Rico. This role plays a critical part in overseeing the company’s financial operations while providing leadership and direction to the Finance Team.

The Accounting & Finance Manager is responsible for the supervision, review, and final presentation of financial statements, as well as for reporting financial results to management. This position manages the performance of the Finance Team, ensures compliance with internal controls, and safeguards the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial data.

In this role, your expertise will play a key role in supporting strategic decision-making through financial analysis, forecasting, and performance evaluation, delivering clear and actionable insights to management to drive business results.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise the daily operations of the Finance Team, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies.
• Perform and manage the full accounting cycle, ensuring accurate recording, reporting, and reconciliation of all financial transactions.
• Monitor team performance, provide guidance and coaching, and ensure accountability for assigned responsibilities.
• Oversee month-end and year-end close processes and ensure reporting deadlines are met.
• Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of financial data and internal controls.
• Coordinate the collection of financial information and support audits and internal reviews.

Compensation & Benefits:

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration, with a concentration in Finance or Accounting.
• Advanced knowledge and mastery of the full accounting cycle, ensuring accurate financial recording, reporting, and reconciliation.
• 5 to 7 years of experience in Finance or Accounting roles, including at least 3 years in supervisory or leadership positions.
• Advanced bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial analysis tools.
• Knowledge of financial modeling and budgeting.
• Proven leadership and teamwork abilities.
• Availability to work Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
