Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and interpretation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), and IAS (International Accounting Standards).
• Manage corporate accounting functions including general ledger reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, cost accounting, and account analysis.
• Oversee budgeting processes, financial forecasting, and strategic planning to support organizational growth objectives.
• Conduct risk analysis and implement risk management strategies to safeguard assets and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Supervise treasury management activities such as cash flow analysis, investment management, and cost control initiatives.
• Ensure accurate revenue recognition in line with ASC 606 standards and maintain compliance with governmental accounting regulations.
• Prepare detailed financial reports, interpret complex financial data, and communicate insights to executive leadership for informed decision-making.
• Oversee internal controls, audit processes, and compliance management to uphold organizational integrity.
• Lead a team of finance professionals by providing mentorship in technical accounting practices, financial software utilization, and fiscal management best practices.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in financial management roles with a strong background in corporate finance, governmental accounting, or non-profit accounting.
• In-depth knowledge of IFRS, IAS, GAAP standards, including ASC 606 revenue recognition guidelines.
• Demonstrated expertise in risk analysis, regulatory reporting, treasury management, and strategic planning.
• Proficiency with financial software systems and tools used for balance sheet reconciliation, cash flow analysis, and general ledger accounting.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data accurately.
• Excellent leadership capabilities with experience managing cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; advanced certifications such as CPA or CMA are highly desirable.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
