Job Title: General Accountant

Location: Kuwait City
Department: Finance / Accounting
Reports To: Finance Manager / CFO

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive General Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting the organization’s financial health and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update general ledger accounts.
• Prepare and process journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals.
• Monitor and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare financial statements and reports in accordance with accounting standards.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Assist with audits and provide required documentation.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven experience as a General Accountant or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Tally).
• Advanced Excel and financial reporting skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred:

• Professional accounting certification (CPA, CMA, ACCA) is a plus.
