Job Type: Intern Work Hours: M-Th 8-5, F 8-12 (Summer 3 months)

Effective Date: March 2026 Exemption Status: Nonexempt

Salary Range: $15.16 /hr.

Role Summary: The Accounting Internship goal is to learn about the accounting function in homebuilding operations by assisting with accounting tasks and observing and mentoring with finance and accounting professionals.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Essential Functions:

• Assists with the preparation of bank reconciliations / escrow reconciliations
• Assists with accounts payable (AP) extracts and processing
• Assists with credit card reconciliations
• Assists with preparation and extraction of monthly and weekly reports
• Assists with reconciliation of inventory
• Assists with Q3 / Q4 reforecasts
• Assists with the setup of the 2027 budget template
• Assists with the input of job budgets in Sage

Work Environment/Physical Requirements:

Work Environment: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
