Our Client is a leading Accounting & Tax firm, having more than 6,000 Clients across various states in USA.

About the Role:

We are seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant to manage month-end closing activities and financial reporting for a US-based client. The ideal candidate will be CA-qualified with a strong understanding of Accounting Standards, capable of ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance in client financials. You will coordinate closely with the US client’s finance teams, supporting audit, tax compliance, and reporting requirements within an international environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage month-end closing processes for the US client, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Collaborate with client finance teams in the US to facilitate smooth closing and compliance with US GAAP.
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and IFRS standards.
• Ensure conformity with internal controls, accounting standards, and US tax regulations.
• Review and prepare journal entries, accruals, provisions, and ledger reconciliations.
• Support external and internal audit processes by preparing audit working papers and liaising with auditors.
• Conduct detailed financial data analytics, performing variance analysis, trend reviews, and identifying key financial metrics.
• Identify and recommend improvements in accounting processes aligned with US corporate requirements.
• Mentor junior accounting staff and coordinate with client and internal teams to meet deadlines.
• Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning aligned with the client’s US operations.

Required Qualifications:

• Chartered Accountant (qualified) with completed articleship.
• 4-6 years of experience handling accounting for international clients, preferably with US-based entities.
• Strong knowledge of relevant Accounting Standards.
• Proven track record managing month-end closing and financial reporting aligned to US standards.
• Experience supporting audits and handling US tax filings.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and accounting software commonly used in US markets (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
• Advanced skills in MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
