Roles and Responsiblities

• Oversee the general accounting functions, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Bank Reconciliation.
• Assist in the preparation and monitoring of annual budgets and forecasts.
• Supervise and mentor the accounting team; assign tasks and ensure timely completion.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors.
• Streamline accounting processes and implement best practices for efficiency.
• Recommend improvements to systems and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, statutory reporting, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage timely filings such as GST/VAT, TDS, Income Tax, and other local statutory filings.
• Conduct performance evaluations and identify training needs.
• Provide variance analysis and recommendations for cost optimization.
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
• Prepare financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards (e.g., GAAP/IFRS).
• Develop and maintain internal control systems to safeguard financial assets.
