Job Summary:

The Accounting Manager position is responsible for providing accounting oversight, weekly reporting, month-end closing, and financial analysis to all assigned company clients.

This role is ideal for highly motivated individuals looking to learn about all aspects of accounting and general business practices from quickly scaling small businesses. This position will be exposed to all levels of business operations with unlimited potential within the company as we continue to grow.

Responsibilities:

· Builds strong working relationships with clients

· Identifies and communicates client issues and progress in a timely and organized manner

· Ensures all deadlines are met for client and internal deliverables

· Retains and organizes client accounting documents

· Assists in creating efficient and scalable processes for both clients & in-house

· Works as an effective team member to accurately complete client accounting tasks, including:

o Input and review of transactions for assigned clients

o Management of accounts receivables and payables

o Oversight and management of both internal and external bookkeeping staff where necessary

o Preparation of weekly reporting to clients

o Assist in preparation of financial reporting, financial forecasts, and annual budgets

o Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements

o Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned

Skillset Preference:

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

· Experience in multiple industries and understanding of business accounting processes across different industries. Experience in construction is a plus

· Ability to balance multiple priorities and complete assignments within time constraints and deadlines

· Ability to quickly adapt to and work within client processes, procedures and reporting needs

· Excellent management and supervisory skills

Required Education & Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting

· Five or more years of related experience

· CPA designation is a plus

· Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook)

· Proficient in multiple accounting software programs and integrated programs, specifically Quickbooks Desktop and Quickbooks Online. Experience in Sage is a plus.

· Experience managing a team is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $85,000.00 per year
