Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and company financial policies.
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff.
- Oversee the month-end and year-end close process.
- Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce financial reports.
- Coordinate and assist with external and internal audits.
- Prepare budgets and forecasts in collaboration with management.
- Maintain and improve internal control systems.
- Ensure timely and accurate tax filings and regulatory reporting.
- Work with other departments to support financial decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5–8 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Professional certification preferred (CPA, CMA, or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
