Accounting Manager

We’re partnering with a growing, dynamic organization to find an experienced Accounting Manager to lead core accounting operations and drive financial excellence. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building strong processes and teams.

About the Role

As Accounting Manager, you’ll oversee day-to-day accounting functions, ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, and maintain strong internal controls. You’ll also play a key role in process improvement, audit coordination, and team development while directly managing a small team.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead daily accounting operations, including general ledger and journal entries
  • Own the month-end and year-end close processes
  • Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP
  • Maintain and strengthen internal controls and compliance processes
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for external audits
  • Analyze financial performance and deliver insights to leadership
  • Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, and efficiencies
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of 2 accounting professionals
  • Support ERP implementations, upgrades, and automation initiatives
  • Provide ad hoc financial reporting and analysis as needed

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
  • CPA strongly preferred
  • 8–10 years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls
  • Experience managing close cycles and external audits
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, JD Edwards, etc.)
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas)
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment

Pay: $80,000.00 - $88,000.00 per year
