We’re partnering with a growing, dynamic organization to find an experienced Accounting Manager to lead core accounting operations and drive financial excellence. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building strong processes and teams.
About the Role
As Accounting Manager, you’ll oversee day-to-day accounting functions, ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, and maintain strong internal controls. You’ll also play a key role in process improvement, audit coordination, and team development while directly managing a small team.
What You’ll Do
- Lead daily accounting operations, including general ledger and journal entries
- Own the month-end and year-end close processes
- Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls and compliance processes
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external audits
- Analyze financial performance and deliver insights to leadership
- Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, and efficiencies
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of 2 accounting professionals
- Support ERP implementations, upgrades, and automation initiatives
- Provide ad hoc financial reporting and analysis as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
- CPA strongly preferred
- 8–10 years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls
- Experience managing close cycles and external audits
- Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, JD Edwards, etc.)
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment

Pay: $80,000.00 - $88,000.00 per year
